Oh yeah, I'm going to Scotland the 16-21 of October. I'm super stoked! I need a real trip out of the city to relax and have a good time with good company. It should be rad. :)
Tuesday:
Visit to Courtauld Gallery Print Room. The first two shots are of the stairwell on the way up to the Print room. We didn't get done until 6PM, which meant rush hour on the tube. Not cool. So me and one of my girlfriends decided to go to a pub and chill out to pass the time - pub shot and candles from where we were at. Of course, before getting on the tube, I decided another night shot was needed. And in one of the halls I saw the perfect poster. Oh how I love the ads in the tube! I think it's a horrible design, but I liked the message and have been trying to follow that myself.
Thursday:
Visit to Willow Road in Hampstead Heath. The first photo is of the Willow Road House. The second photo is of a funky house in Hampstead Heath that I saw while on a walk.
Friday:
Got to visit The Homewood, Modernist house and garden designed by Patrick Gwynne. The first photo is a play structure for kids at the Garden. We had time to kill so we took a stroll through it before catching a charter bus to The Homewood house. All the photos after the first one are from the Homewood house property. Again, no photos were allowed to be taken inside, but I managed to sneak a few shots from the outside. I also enjoyed playing with my macro feature on my camera. The photos are a mix of macro, landscape and house shots. It was a rad house, inside and out.
